WHAT IS GP SUPER STORE?
As most of you may already know, GP stands for Group Purchase. Some of you may alternatively know of group purchasing as Group Buys. GP Super Store takes group purchasing, or group buying, to a whole new level by professionally organizing the entire process. We at GP Super Store have been in the automotive business for over 25 years. We have experience in all areas of the industry, including organizing group purchases.
Not only do we share a passion for cars but we share the desire to SAVE money!
WHAT IS A GROUP PURCHASE AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
It works by bringing a group of people together that are interested in the same product or product line. GP Super Store goes to the manufacturer or distributor and negotiates a discounted price for the group. These manufacturers or distributors then offer GP Super Store a discount based on the volume of the purchase. Usually there is a minimum amount of orders or dollars required for the manufacturer or distributor to agree to a GP.
These requirements are a part of every GP.
WHERE DID THE IDEA OF GROUP PURCHASES ORIGINATE?
Group purchasing has been around for quite a while. Group purchasing has grown stronger since the advent of car clubs and internet forums. The internet has provided a terrific opportunity to gather like minded enthusiasts interested in a popular product. Typically GPs are organized by a club or a forum member that is seeking a discount on a product they want to buy but are looking for an angle to buy it cheaper. While there have been many individual GPs that have been successful, occasionally there have been disasters. Managing a GP can be quite overwhelming to the non industry professional with a 40 hour a week job. In fact, some forums have banned member organized GPs to avoid these disasters. At GP Super Store, this is our job. We provide a safe and reliable way of bringing it all together, and because this is all we do, we know how to perform successful group purchases.
HOW MUCH CAN I SAVE?
You can save from 5% to as much as 50% off of the suggested retail price. In every case, GP Super Store’s goal is to put together group purchases that will beat the price of any retailer.
HOW WILL I KNOW IF GP SUPERSTORE OFFERS THE PRODUCTS THAT I AM INTERESTED IN?
It’s simple; all you need to do is search in our ACTIVE GP and the PROPOSED GP FORUMS for your product or product line. If you don’t see the item that you want, just go to the PROPOSED GP FORUM and post your interest in that product or product line. Everyone else that is interested in that particular GP will post their replies. We will take it from there; we will negotiate the pricing and then move the GP into our ACTIVE GP FOURM once there is enough confirmed interest.
HOW WILL I LET YOU KNOW THAT I WANT IN ON AN ACTIVE GP?
All you need to do is express your commitment in the ACTIVE GP FORUM or email: SALES@GPSuperStore.com to let us know what product or product line you want from the ACTIVE GP FORUM.
WHEN WILL I KNOW WHAT MY SAVINGS WILL BE?
We will either post pricing in the ACTIVE GP FORUM, email you, or we may have to tell you by phone. Some manufacturers and distributors have strict rules about printing offerings of discounts below a specified amount and will not allow posting of deep discounted pricing on any forum or in writing. .
HOW LONG WILL A GP LAST FOR EACH ITEM?
Most GPs are for 30 days after a GP is active. Sometimes a GP can be longer or even extended based on interest from buyers or the manufacturer / distributor.
WHEN AND HOW DO I PAY?
Payment is made when you place your order. Once the minimum amount is collected, we forward those funds to the manufacturer or distributor. Payment can be made through our secure shopping cart with a credit card or by sending a money order. Money orders should be a postal money order sent 2 day priority signature receipt. Please let us know it is coming. In rare cases, if we have not collected from all of the buyers that have committed to the group purchase and we are not able to reach our minimum, we will issue a full refund of your purchase amount.
HOW SOON WILL I RECEIVE MY PURCHASE?
As soon as we get our first minimum purchase amount collected we will place the 1st batch of orders for that product. Shipping times may vary from each manufacturer or distributor. Shipping details will be specified in each of the GP rules. For those of you that are doing a time sensitive restoration or project, please let us know in advance. Because we order in larger volume to receive these discounts, it may take additional time for the manufacturer / distributor to fill these orders. Please be sure to contact us before ordering to see if you will be able to get your parts in the time you need.
WHAT IF I MISS THE FIRST ORDER?
If you missed the first minimum order, it is no big deal, depending on volume there may be multiple batches of orders that may go in before the end of the GP. Otherwise, once the GP is over, the final orders will be placed with the manufacturer / distributor.
WHAT IF I MISSED THE DEADLINE ON AN ACTIVE GP?
As soon as we get enough interest in that product or product line again we will run another GP. Just simply list your interest in the PROPOSED GP FORUM and let’s see who else is interested. Usually it will be best to wait a couple months before proposing a GP that has just ended.
CAN I GET IN AFTER GP HAS ALREADY ENDED?
In rare, very rare occasions, we can get a manufacture or distributor to honor a GP price to a late straggler. But we do not suggest waiting with the assumption the GP price will still be available. We do however promise to try to serve everyone, and will always do our best to get you in.
WHAT ABOUT RETURNS AND REFUNDS?
All manufacturer warranties apply to faulty or defective products. There is a 20% restocking fee on all returned or exchanged items.
